MeHA Care Connect – Integrated Overview
The MeHA Care Connect Architecture forms part of the broader Gateway Platform for Sustainable Medical & Health Innovation (GPS-MHI), an integrated innovation framework designed to connect healthcare, wellbeing, research, technology, and innovative integrated health and wellbeing ecosystems to support a sustainable community and future healthcare model. GPS-MHI serves as a gateway platform that enables collaboration, knowledge exchange, digital connectivity, and innovation across the medical and health sectors. It is designed to empower individuals throughout their lifelong health journey, strengthen healthcare accessibility, enhance coordinated care, support workforce wellbeing, build community resilience, and create sustainable health outcomes through collaboration, innovation, and evidence-based transformation. The overarching goal of GPS-MHI is to empower health, strengthen community resilience, and support sustainable health economic growth.
The Wellbeing Connect Channel (WCC) is a specialised workforce wellbeing component within the health ecosystem. WCC acts as the Health, Wellbeing and Community Connection Gateway, a platform that connects healthcare leaders, professionals, organisations, workplaces, and communities to promote health awareness, prevention, resilience, and wellbeing. WCC supports workforce wellbeing, mental health awareness, community resilience, and sustainable wellbeing practices through knowledge sharing, engagement, and collaboration. It provides a communication channel to share healthcare innovation stories, community initiatives, expert insights, and wellbeing experiences, empowering people to understand what support is available, whom to connect with, and how to engage when help is needed.
The Medical Blue Pages Queensland (MBP Queensland) serves as the core digital infrastructure layer of the ecosystem. It provides a secure, searchable directory of verified medical, allied health, and wellbeing professionals and services. As a trusted digital platform, MBP Queensland enhances service visibility, streamlines navigation across healthcare pathways, and facilitates efficient connections between healthcare providers, patients, community organisations, and wellbeing networks. MBP Queensland aims to improve healthcare accessibility, system interoperability, prevention, efficiency, and sustainable health outcomes.
Medical Research Innovation Collaboration (MRIC) – Knowledge and Innovation Gateway is a collaborative platform connecting universities, researchers, healthcare organisations, industry partners, government, and innovators to accelerate medical research translation, digital health innovation, emerging technologies, and evidence-based healthcare transformation. Through cross-sector collaboration, this pillar supports the development and implementation of innovative healthcare solutions, translating research into practical outcomes that enhance healthcare quality, strengthen community resilience, and contribute to sustainable health economic growth.
Together, Medical Blue Pages (MBP) Queensland, the Wellbeing Connect Channel (WCC), and Medical Research Innovation Collaboration (MRIC) form a balanced and integrated health innovation ecosystem that supports healthcare accessibility, workforce wellbeing, continuous improvement, and future healthcare transformation. While MBP Queensland and WCC strengthen connections between individuals, healthcare services, professionals, and communities, MRIC completes the health and wellbeing ecosystem by enabling ongoing innovation, research translation, and collaboration among government, training institutions, universities, industry partners, healthcare organisations, and communities. This integrated approach enhances service coordination, improves healthcare accessibility, strengthens community resilience, accelerates innovation, promotes sustainable health outcomes, and contributes to long-term health economic growth through a more connected, person-centred, and future-ready healthcare model. It creates positive impacts for individuals, communities, social wellbeing, sustainable healthcare systems, and Queensland’s long-term health and economic prosperity.

Project Milestone & Strategic Alignment

Led by Dr. Michelle Lee and the Medical Blue Pages Queensland team, this vital milestone unites integrated health stakeholders, clinical professionals, AI experts, researchers, and key industry partners. Together, they are engineering a pioneering hybrid digital platform and app-centric Integrated Healthcare and Wellbeing Ecosystem.
Central to this framework is an expanded mandate to deliver targeted healthcare accessibility, digital connectivity, and structured training programs for First Nations peoples alongside regional, rural, and outback communities. By investing in regional capacity building and digital healthcare literacy training, the initiative actively empowers local Indigenous health workers and remote practitioners to pioneer care delivery within their own areas.
Medical Blue Pages Queensland fundamentally redefines continuous care journeys—empowering health, fortifying community resilience, and sustaining lifelong wellbeing. By linking healthcare providers, patients, allied health, technology partners, and researchers into a single, cohesive network, the initiative establishes a secure, interconnected, and future-focused healthcare blueprint for all of Queensland.
